Start Lamp are engineered to provide an instantaneous high voltage
to strike the elements with in a gallium or mercury lamp creating
a plasma. The ballast continues to provide full power to the lamp
in order to sustain the lamp plasma. Other design features permit
operation with a constant lamp wattage during input voltage variation
to insure a terminal input can adjusted 210V, 220V, 230V, and
50Hz, 60Hz.
